SUP: an introduction

SUP is an international online media company based in Moscow. Since its launch in 2006 it has acquired and grown organically five  businesses. These companies are split into two core business units.

  • LiveJournal.com, the most popular blogging site and social media platform in Russia. It also has a global following of more than 25 million monthly readers (Omniture). It has over 19 million accounts worldwide and continues to add over 300,000 every month. The Russian segment of LiveJornal has more than 15,6 users monthly, 2 million Cyrillic accounts and 100-millionth post was published recently in LiveJournal.;
  • Championat.ru, the most popular online only sports news site in Russia. In the last two years it has grown from a small niche site to the most well used sports news service in Russia. It covers live games and provides sports fans with detailed analysis.

SUP ADVERTISING – overseeing some of the most attractive inventory on the Russian internet, producing some of the best online campaigns and reaching through its sales network more than 70% of Russian web users monthly.
