We have some good news: the embedding of multimedia files stored at outside services in your LiveJournal posts has just become much easier.

 

Earlier LiveJournal has kept a so-called "white list" of services and adding each new mediahosting platform to this list took a lot of time. Now everything is made simpler with new <lj-embed> tag, which allows you to embed a code from any outside media service.
