Andrew Paulson

Andrew Paulson has lived and worked in Moscow since 1993. He founded SUP in the summer of 2006 shortly after he sold Afisha Publishing House, which he founded in 1998. That business consisted of Afisha Magazine, afisha.ru, Bolshoi Gorod and MIR. He is an American with a background in publishing, design, photography and writing, and has lived in Paris, London and New York.

    Annelies van den Belt

    Annelies van den Belt has worked in London and Moscow for most of her career. Annelies has extensive experience in managing commercial online ventures having been the managing director of ITV Broadband (the UK’s leading commercial broadcaster) and previously run the commercial online division of both the Times and then the Telegraph newspaper websites. Prior to these high profile British media positions she worked as the publisher of The Moscow Times and a number of other major Independent Media titles.

      Matt Berardo

      Matt comes to LiveJournal from Yahoo!, where he was most recently Sr. Director of International Business and Product Management. In that role, Matt was responsible for managing the executive international agenda from Yahoo! corporate headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. Matt spent nearly 7 years in London in various positions at Yahoo! Europe, where he was responsible for the Yahoo! Frontpage, My Yahoo! and BT Yahoo!, a strategic partnership with British Telecom.

        Sergei Komarov

        Sergei Komarov

        Sergei Komarov has been with SUP since its inception. Previously he spent seven years in the U.S. working in various capacities inside WPP where he was responsible for the development of internet-based products, systems integration and information security. Prior to moving to the U.S. he worked in Moscow on projects ranging from media start-ups to the Central Bank of Russia.

          Olga Mashinina

          Olga Mashinina joined SUP in the Spring of 2007. For eight years prior to joining SUP, she was the Commercial Director of Afisha Publishing House. She has a background in media sales, advertising and business development. Earlier in her career she worked in graphic design and copywriting.

            Lilia Omasheva

            Lilia Omasheva joined SUP in the Autumn of 2007. Prior to that for five years she worked in the advertising industry as Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Operating Officer of BBDO’s Russian operations. Before that she played a series of key roles over nine years at Coca-Cola Russia.

              Paulina Pashkevich

              Paulina Pashkevich

              Paulina Pashkevich joined SUP in July 2008. She was born in Odessa, but grew up in Sweden, where she got her BA from Stockholm University and her experience from working with a large Swedish creative agency Lydeking and IKEA Communications. In 2006 she moved to Russia where she was appointed Advertising Director at IKEA Russia.

                Edward Shenderovich

                Edward Shenderovich has been with SUP since its inception. Previously, he founded and was CEO of Quantum Art, a content management software company. He also played a leading role in launching Ixtens, a key integrator for Amazon.com's Merchant Program, and Dandelife, a social biography network. During interludes, Edward has been a professor and a poet.

                  Benjamin Wegg-Prosser

                  Benjamin Wegg-Prosser’s career has ranged from offline and online publishing to politics. He held several positions at The Guardian and was the Director of the Strategic Communications Unit at No. 10 Downing Street, a post he left in the Spring of 2007 when Tony Blair stood down as the British Prime Minister.
