SUP Media announces new appointments

International digital media company SUP Media, one of the top 5 holdings of the Russian internet by audience coverage (according to TNS data), today announces the appointments of Ilya Dronov as Head of LiveJournal Russia and Anton Nossik as Media Director of SUP Media. Current Head of LiveJournal Russia Svetlana Ivannikova is leaving the company to pursue her own business.

Ilya Dronov was born in 1982 in Moscow, graduated from Moscow State Institute of Radio-engineering, Electronics and Automation (MIREA) in 2004. He has more than 10 years of experience in the Internet industry, previously headed the department of Internet-research of "Renaissance-insurance", and also managed the company that creates web-solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Ilya Dronov joined the SUP Media in February 2007 on the position of Interface specialist, from May 2007 - Creative Director, in September 2008 he took up the position of Products Development Director.

Anton Nossik was born in 1966. Well-known activist of the Runet, journalist and startup-manager, one of the first Russian-speaking users on LiveJournal. Known as the creator of the sites bfm.ru, Gazeta.ru, Lenta.ru, NEWSru.com, Kommersant TV and number of other projects. From 2006 to 2008 – Head of blog service SUP Media, from November 2008 to October 2009 - the Chief Editor of portal business news of bfm.ru, from 2009 to 2011 - Chief Editor of bfm.ru. Founder of the charitable foundation "Pomogi.org”.

In his new role, Anton Nossik will be overseeing the development of media projects for the holding, Incl LiveJournal. As Head of LiveJournal Russia, Ilya Dronov will be responsible for the technical and strategic development of the service. Ilya will also be in charge of marketing and monetization of LiveJournal resources.
